How Much of YOUR Time Is Needed When Switching Payroll Companies?

how much of YOUR time is needed to switch payroll companies

Are you looking for a payroll company that’s easier for you to work with? If so, you might be concerned how much of YOUR time is needed to switch payroll companies.

That’s the question we’re asked most often because you’re probably very busy and have a hard enough time getting through your workday as it is.

So, even though you may be frustrated working with your current payroll provider and you struggle to get help from their overworked and inexperienced staff, you may be afraid that you  cannot find the time upfront that’s required to switch companies.

But what if switching didn’t require much of your time at all? What if your new payroll company did all the heavy lifting for you so you didn’t have to?

After reading this article, you’ll know how quickly and easily you can make the switch from your payroll company to Baron Payroll.

Step One: Sign All New Client Onboarding Documents

The first step in making the switch to Baron is to complete the new client onboarding paperwork.

We’ll prepare all the paperwork, make sure all your documents are in order, and email them to you.  All you need to do is electronically sign them.

This should take a few minutes of your time.

Step Two: Provide Us With Online Access to Your Current Payroll System

When switching payroll providers, it’s important to make sure all the relevant employee information and payroll data from your current provider is accurately transferred over.

The easiest way for you to accomplish this is to delegate it to us. We’ll login to your current provider so we can access the information we need. If anything is missing, or we find something wrong, we’ll alert you.

If you already have online access to your payroll data now, this step too should only require a few minutes of your time.

We may notice that your previous payroll company took shortcuts. For example, we may find that your department setup was skipped which makes minimizing your workers comp insurance expense problematic. If that’s the case, we’ll stop and ask you so you can get your payroll setup correctly.

After you complete these two steps, Baron will take care of the rest.

If you make the right choice when choosing your next payroll company, switching doesn't have to be time-consuming or complicated. Especially when switching to Baron.

Our easy 2-step new client onboarding process means that it should take you less than an hour of your time to get started.
